I have a Ford 150 pick-up #295 Saleen model. I would like to test your airless tires and write a report and perhaps do a commercial for them. My tires are 9004*95339* 305/40R23. If youbsend me a set i'll have them mounted on my rims, or you can send the rims of your choice with the tires mounted on them. I'm at 212 Harmony Orchard Rd. Front Royal, VA 22630 and my video cam is ready. I prefer an e-message as I lost three frquencies to many years in the US Air Force. pmandcmfarm@yahoo.com

I certainly love the idea of an airless tire. I've had a couple of flats in my time and they are a royal pain in the butt.

Anyone seriously interested in this FOR GOODNESS SAKE GET A LIFE AND ACTUALLY DO A WEB SEARCH!!!

Just type in "Michelin Tweel" on your google search box.

You will find the following -

For some reason there is nothing whatever on any MICHELIN site about any kind of TWEEL application to cars - only to earth moving equipment. Strange the manufacturer hasn't heard of this "new" development isn't it? Could they be hiding it away? But what possible motive would they have to do that - especially as the existence of TWEEL is hardly a secret anyway? Normal healthy scepticism says bullshit, right?

Then lookup TWEEL on Wikipedea!

Apparently TWEEL vibrates like hell and makes a dreadful noise at any speed over about 50mph (80 Kph).

Unsuitable for cars full stop. All the sites reporting otherwise are either in on the joke, or are just repeating something they have seen elsewhere.

Why couldnt they just apply this technology INTO a pnumatic tire? Put these "flexible spokes" into a regular tire and call it a "run flat"? They could modify the design and make it so it wouldnt affect handling or performance of the tire. Just an idea...
